i need help.  i have been messing with linux for years but dont seem to be able to make any improvements.  either i have problems intalling (RedHat 7.1) or the installation cds are compatible with the hardware I have (suse 9,10.1 and knoppix) or I just cant seem to make it usable (Kubuntu Fiesty Fawn).

I have books but it always gets to a point where i need applications of software that I cant get to work!

help!!
