Nathaniel,
Thanks for your enthusiasm and willingness to help out with the LUG.
Even though you can't come to meetings, we'd love to have you involved
in help out in other ways.
1. Spread the word, about linux and the LUG. There are many linux
users on campus that don't know about the LUG and many people who
would rather use linux if they knew about it. It's less scary to try
it out when you know you have a support group to help you when you get
stuck.
2. Help out at Installfests. We'll be holding installfests once per
semester (to be planned during out next meeting), which are to walk
people through installing linux or to help them solve any problems
they have. You can volunteer help at the events, and invite people at
attend once we announce the date.
If you have time you can hang out with us on IRC (irc.freenode.net
#ncsulug). That way you can meet us and we'll know who you are too.
Hope to see you around sometime!
