Hi all,
I'm Jay, the treasurer for ACM. Please let us know when you are having
installfests, etc. If I know in advance, I can help talk to the other
groups (ACM, STARS, GSA, etc) and we could get more participants, and make
them more "community-centric" events rather than "lug-centric". We could
throw together a baller installfest party!
One option you could also consider is placing ads in the technician, in
terms of getting the word out. I'm not sure, however, what the success
rate of tech ads are.
I'd really like to see our LUG do some cool stuff, and one of our ACM
goals is to do a better job reaching out to people and fostering
community. Too often us geek types get into our routine and don't
branching out.
Anyways, just throwing that out there. Let me know!
Jay
