If you are using one of those Linksys routers and enabling DHCP on it you
need to specify the DNS servers in one of the menu options. That will make
sure each client on the network gets the DNS information from the router.

Thanks. My resolv.conf file had
search nc.rr.com
nameserver 192.168.0.1
I removed that nameserver and added the ones you suggested and everything
works fine now. I'm not sure why it was working before the way it was (or
if got changed somehow). Perhaps I should have mentioned that I'm using a
router. Actually I do remember the power went off a few days ago so I had
to power off and power on the modem and router but I don't know what that
would have to do with anything.
