Yeah, I know what you mean. The only reason I use it is to transfer
large multipart files over USB drives. I realize I could simply split a
gzip archive, but, well, I guess I just have my habits.

No, not realm kit. Just RHEL5. An older version of rar works fine
(thanks Cory).
