On the other hand you *CAN* run a bash script thats got a 'while true' loop that does something and then sleeps for a while.

I actually did that before i knew what 'cron' was.

Kerberos tickets DOES require special permission, and of course a server
to do it from.

Mostly the server would require a kerberos keytab file containing its
principle which is not something we do normally.
