ndiswrapper is easy enough to use, but can be tricky.  Here are the things you will need (generally):
Hints:  if you aren't familiar (I'm not really sure your level of linux knowledge/experience- please forgive me if you already know this stuff), commands prefixed with # are intended to be typed by the root user.  To become root, either use sudo or su while logged into your normal account, ie.  "$sudo make && make install" or "$su -" (to become root).

I hope I managed to help you out :)  Let me know if you managed to get things working.

John

I have successfully configured my HP Pavilion laptop to dual-boot to Vista or Ubuntu.  However, I have not been able to get Ubuntu to recognize my Broadcom wireless card.  I have found descriptions of how to use ndiswrapper to create the driver, but have not had any success.
Unfortunately, I cannot come the the Monday 7 PM meetings.  Is there somewhere I can go to get help with this?  Thanks.
