You're probably much better off just using the latest edition of OpenOffice.org
(http://www.openoffice.org/). But I suspect the problem is the 1.5 VM
is a 64-bit
VM while Staroffice 8 is probably 32-bits (it's not 100% pure java) so
I think it matters.
