Huzzah!
It's almost time for the Fall 2009 semester to start which, of course, means it's also time to reconvene what may be the geekiest group of students at NCSU, the Linux Users Group. For our first meeting of the semester we're inviting anyone and everyone to come discuss the fun, geeky projects they worked on over the summer. Our regular attendees partook in projects ranging from OS-level programming to graphing complex datasets to IRC bots to web programming. It doesn't matter whether your project was successful or whether your project was unusual; if it was fun, interesting, and educational for you we'll probably be thrilled to talk about it.

Make friends! Talk geek! Have fun! Come to Riddick Hall, room 314 at 7pm on the 25th and help us kick off the new year!

Food!
As usual, we will be going out for dinner after the meeting. Probably pizza; we're considering visiting a different pizza place on Hillsborough street after every meeting so that we can give an opinion of all of them.

Online!
Drop by our chatroom on irc.freenode.net #ncsulug. We're a pretty active bunch, and very welcoming of people who want to join in the conversation.
You can also visit our website at lug.ncsu.edu for more information about us.
