LUG@NCSU will be wrapping up the semester tomorrow night with the geek classic, War Games:
After he cracks the security of an Air Force supercomputer, young hacker David Lightman accidentally tells it to start preparing a preemptive nuclear strike. Combining Cold War paranoia with adolescent adventure, War Games follows Lightman and his girlfriend Jennifer as they travel across the country to try and warn the military of the impending launch.
Come enjoy this classic with us tomorrow night at
7:30
in the
D.H. Hill library's theater
("floor 1", west wing, in the back, up the stairs).
Before the movie, we'll be meeting in the
visitor parking lot
in front of Bragaw
Hall (along Dan Allen) at
5:30
to carpool to the Bali Hai Mongolian restaurant. Kinda like a Japanese steakhouse, but rather than ordering off a menu, you put all your ingredients in a bowl and pass it to a guy who cooks it with a pair of swords. Good times! Price is $7 for a single bowl of food, $9 for two bowls.
