  I don't think you can because they are solaris binaries and your
  
  system would try to run them itself if my thinking is correct.  I tend
  
  to use X11 forwarding as smithj suggested.  However, I am having
  
  troubles getting matlab to run.  SAS works great but if I run matlab 7
  
  sp2 I get out of memory errors right away, matlab 7 gives me out of
  
  memory errors when it tries to load the gui and dumps out to the
  
  console version, and matlab 6.5 gives a seg fault.  Is anyone
  
  succesfully running matlab over ssh that could help me out?
