You could do that. It's really just an issue of forgetting to sync. With sshfs, you don't have access when you're offline though.

Anyway, I have a question about something Linux based, and I was wondering if you guys would have any advice.

I am trying to attach or mount (or whatever you call it) my afs directory in my personal Linux partition.
I know how to ssh to the afs fine, and I can manipulate files there, but for moving quantities of files, or pictures, it would be especially nice
if I could access the afs root some how with the normal GUI file system.

Can anyone give me a rundown on how to do that?
