There is an update for that phone from ATT to allow non-market apps. If your friend does not have that option then call ATT and get them to send the update to their phone. I have that phone and originally I received the update automatically, but after resetting my phone to the original settings I had to call them to get it back.

Hi all,

I have made an android application which basically can not work on SDK as it measures RSSI values and uses it for some other purpose. I am trying to install it on my friends AT&T galaxy phone but its not getting installed because it is not registered with android market place. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Also i have tried removing the sim card and tried to install the app but still it is not working. Please Help.
