It's that time again! At the end of each semester members* of the NCSU Linux Users Group have the opportunity to take an active role in deciding who presents, where to eat, etc.

If you're interested in becoming an officer on the Steering Committee, please reply to the list nominating yourself . The following positions are available:

• President: Decides the final presentation schedule, gets the LUG involved in campus events, herds cats
  
• Vice President: Assists the president by helping arrange meetings, sending out meeting announcements and booking rooms, etc.
  
• Secretary: Webmaster, possibly other odds and ends
  
• Treasurer: Makes sure the LUG has money. Keeps an eye on the budget, tries to secure funding

Votes will be cast at the final meeting of the semester (movie night), Tuesday Dec. 6 at 7:00pm.

Since I'm graduating next month, I will be ending my reign of terror glory this semester. It's been fun!

* Basically means you're a student at NCSU and you can be recognized as a regular at meetings or in the IRC channel.
