11Giraffes, a SaaS digital signage provider, seeks a full-time Software Developer with excellent problem solving and programming skills.  The candidate will be responsible for designing  and deploying Linux media player software, and integrating with the associated content management and distribution platform.

Job requirements:

1. Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills

2. The candidate must be well-versed in the following technologies:

• 3+ years C/C++  (5+ preferred)
• Java
• XML
• NetBeans IDE
• Linux OS

3. Experience in coding for hardware

4. Experience developing with open source frameworks

5. Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.

6. Experience in integrating software with existing systems

7. Ability to evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation

8. Must be comfortable working in a dynamic early-stage company environment

Qualifications :

· BS in computer science or other relevant engineering field

· 3+ years software development experience
