Hey LUG,
I'm a Village Fellow in the Honors village and my job is to plan activities related to Information and Technology.  My co chair and I thought it would be a great idea to have a presentation on the linux operating system and maybe treat it similar to an install party.  We were hoping to have something like a 20 minute or less demonstration of a couple distributions and then maybe split up into different groups based on what people want to do or install.  I could probably run most of this, I'm just wondering if there was anyone here who would like to help.  We would have to assume the audience would be of little knowledge in the area, but we are likely to have many who are very knowledgeable.  I was thinking of going over some of the major distros, but we can do what works.  We are going to provide food for the meeting, as far as I know we will be making quesadillas.  The date will have to be Tuesday September 14 and we would probably start setting up around 6:30 for a 7:00 activity.  Let me know if you would like to help. Thanks.
