Subject: internship with a local startup for your students

Hello,

I'm the CEO & founder of a Durham startup called Slipstream and I'm looking to hire 1 or 2 web development interns this fall. Could you please share the following opportunity with your students?

======================
Durham startup looking for Ruby developer interns

Does the sprint-like, always in flux, creativity-demanding pace of a startup excite you? How would you like to get some real world experience at an early-stage, funded startup that's not run by business guys? Slipstream Technologies, Inc. is looking for 1-2 talented Ruby developers to join the team as interns for the fall. At least some web development and design experience is required. This position provides compensation in the form of either a small stipend or equity based on performance.

As an ideal candidate, you've worked with Ruby and Ruby on Rails before. You should smile at the thought of writing efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You're comfortable enough with SQL and database concepts (relational and not) to want to apply that kind of order and logic to real life. You should be ready to work at 10-20 hours per week (except around midterms and finals). Finally, you're a social media maven and see real value in tweets and status updates, even if few around you do.

Apply by emailing your resume and why you must have this job to interns@slipstre.[redacted]
