Yes! Languages.  I suppose you'll have a lot there, but personally I have these:

C/Asm for the reverse engineering stuff, glued together with Python and Bash scripts. (its not *too* black magic i promise)

I'll be giving a mini presentation on the Go programming language (made by google) sometime during the earlier part of the day, and be doing Q/A, demos, etc for it.

Lastly I've got a project involving Cadsoft's domain specific language (DSL) for their Eagle software, called ULP.  I need some ulp scripts for various automation tasks (actually automating the reverse engineering of their proprietary file format :-).

Outside of that, I *JUST* got an android phone and I'd be up for hacking out a little demo app for it.  I think Jay mentioned android stuff.

Lastly fuzzing & code coverage is another infosec area I'm interested in, especially if theres fellow hacker(s) who want to join in.

Sounds fun. Computer security sounds fun. What language are you using? I can't RSVP without a different gmail account, but I'm pretty sure I'll be there.

Absolutely! Also, you can look for ideas, volunteer to help someone else, test other projects, or work on another project that you could use 8 hours of time to do.

For those of us who can code, but have no active projects, is there something we can help code?

Hi Everyone!

Here are some updates about the Hack and Code day!

First of all, although the event is centered around coding, we're open to any project you need to work on. You're still welcome to come.

The cost will be $1 per meal. We will have a full espresso bar, complete with whipped cream, so coffee lovers should feel right at home.

The location will be in room 150, Withers hall. Withers is right next to Daniels hall, and SAS parking lot will be open for parking.

If you have any questions, please let me know! If you haven't RSVP'd, here's the link:
