Yes, anyone in the steering committee can take donations at any of our meetings up until March 5th, which is the final collection date for the Guinness world record. We may also do this again at future meetings this semester when we provide free food. Thanks for your help!

Thank you to everyone who donated! With the funds you all provided, the LUG will be contributing 67.5 lb of food to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina. You guys make a difference. :-) I'll keep you up to date as I hear how we do toward our goal of breaking the Guinness world record of 550,000 lb.

We'll be meeting tonight at 7:00pm in SAS Hall room 1102 to learn about the Conky system monitor. Conky has garnered a strong following as one of the best tools for watching your CPU, memory, disk usage, and more.

Also, there will be delicious pizza at the meeting tonight!

Help a food bank!

The LUG is supporting a local effort to achieve a world record for food donated to a food bank. The goal: 550,000lbs of food. If you want to help, bring some cash monies ($1 = 2.5lbs bulk food) tonight. We'll collect donations and pass them along to the food drive.
