Hi All!

SUMMARY:
LUG & MPG LAN Party is Tuesday the 29th from 9:00 PM to Midnight. Be there, or be double-multiplied.

We have an exciting week coming up at the end of this month; we will be participating in the second ever Centennial Campus Challenge right on our very own Centennial Campus! For a $10 participation fee, you get a t-Shirt, lots of free food, and some great times! Save a little money, because they'll have grills and such, and we'll be working as a club to have some less-than-$5 fresh grilled meals for you all as well. I'll be bringing out the Boston speakers with the 8" sub again, there will be power provided every night, and we're even working on better wireless access in the oval.

Even more exciting is the opportunity we have to promote ourselves in a fun and inexpensive (free) way; we're the coordinators for a LAN party! We'll be working with the Multiplayer Gaming Club to put on a great event, where CCC will be (hopefully) providing refreshments, and we can set up a booth to talk about our favorite OS. The party will be called "The LUG & MPG LAN Party", so basically, they'll be advertising for us.

What games (especially Open Source ones) do you want to see there, and what console games would you like to see? So everyone, even if you're not going to be participating heavily in the CCC, be ready to come out and have fun at the LAN party!
