Hi,
I am using Linux Fedora 3, kernel 2.6-9 RPC service.
The RPC Client is on Solaris Machine and Server is on Linux Machine.
My RPC server program has two versions.
I am using CLIENT* clnt = clnt_create_vers_timed(serverhost,
prognum, &vers_outp, vers_low, vers_high, tport, &rpcTimeout);
function on Solaris Machine to find the latest version number.
The problem is Linux Portmapper programme is returning NULL Client
Handle.
All other clnt_create functions are working fine.
I could see my programme entry with correct version on Linux machine
using "rpcinfo -p"
Could you please confirm me, weather Linux Fedora 3 kernel 2.6-9
PORTMAPPER supports this function (clnt_create_vers_timed) or not.
I couldn't see the man page for clnt_create_vers_timed on Linux
machine.
We are using portmapper version 2 on our system.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks n Regards,
