Chris King [irc: thantosys] will be speaking at our meeting on Tuesday
about how not to die as a startup. Learn from his experience such tips
as:
-
Determine if your idea can actually be made into a business
-
Pick your team wisely, you may not get a second chance
-
Adhere to the cult of done
-
Avoid funding at all costs
Chris will give you these and more tips on things that can go wrong in
a startup, and suggestions on how to avoid them. The talk will include
lots of discussion, so come with questions!
After the meeting we will pay a visit to Marco's Pizza on Hillsborough
street- you are free to come to only the meeting, only dinner, or both.
Don't let a physics test stop you from congregating with other Linux
enthusiasts!
