Ok, so I found this site the shows some of the routing  commands.  But when I run them, they do not work, on suse I cannot get ifconfig or route to work.  Is there another place that they are hidden?

I tried somthing like this

./ifup-route add -eth1 192.168.1.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 dev dsl0

but it said the interface eth1 was not found, i tried eth0 dsl0 net and whole slew of addresses.

Thanks
Will

Ok, that got me connected, but what changes do I need to make to get
data to flow through it. Right now I got an IP...local is
192.168.0.200, and it gave me 192.168.1.153...not that the exact numbers
matter but I think there is something you have to do regarding the
subnet...I don't really understand it.

Thanks
Will

This thread
http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=4939618&forum_id=773

suggests that you should add "ignore-eap" to your pppd config.

Sorry, "ignore-eap".

I know you big-hearted and patient linux geeks will forgive me for
replying to my own message.

Ha ha! It's too early. if you read the thread instead of my
under-caffeinated mail, you will use "refuse-eap" instead.
