I have all the groups keys in my pubring file

Now I want to do:

gpg --sign-key [8-character key id]

OK, except that it wants to have me sign with the first of two id's and
that first one is not the one I used at the Key Party and it is one that
I have tried to issue a revoke certificate for.

I don't see any way to enter the 8-characters of the key I DO want to use.

what next, please??
