Our first planning meeting of the year went well. There were 11 people
were in attendance.
We decided on a new regular meeting time - Wed, 7:30.
Since there were several new freshmen, we went over what the LUG
generally does, and asked for new ideas. Everyone was asked to think of
a meeting topic they would like presented.

We came up with some meeting ideas:
Elliot is going to give a presentation on campus linux services/linux on
campus.
Smithj was volunteered to give a presentation on Cryptography and GPG
Keys. We'll also have a followup key-signing party.
Chris talked about possibly having a meeting about putting linux on your
XBox.

We talked about the possibility of combining isntallfests with TriLUG.
Elliot is going to revive the LUG remote server that died over the
summer. Active LUG members with a unity ID will be allowed to log in.

Brennan switched schools, leaving an open secretary position in our
steering committee.
If anyone is interested in this position, please email the steering
committee mailing list, or /msg Aileens on IRC. We will hold an
election at a future meeting. Responsibilities include taking meeting
minutes and posting them to the website and mailing list.

Everyone ate at El Rodeo after the meeting.
