I'm running Debian on my Athlon 64 computer. Ever since I have
installed it, the sound does not come on when I boot to Debian. If I
run 'alsaconf' once Debian has completely loaded, then sound works
fine. But if I reboot, the sound no longer works.

My Sound card is a Sound Blaster Live! card (not 5.1), and I'm running a
custom kernel (2.6.12.3) that is based mostly on the debian config.

Does anyone know how to get my sound to load on bootup?
