Subject : LUG: Putty X11 problems

Logging into my machine via SSH using Putty. I have enabled forwarding
X11 in Putty and in /etc/ssh/sshd_config. I get errors, however, when I
try to run any graphical applications. For example, gnome-terminal and
gedit both complain that they're unable to open display.

What could I be missing here?
