Hi,

I am trying to install OpenSuse 11.2 as a guest OS on VMware(on Windows 7).
After checking the hardware, the installer gives a warning "Unable to
create repository from url dvd:///. Try Again?" When I click try again it
asks me to select the repository path from 2 options CD-ROM DVD-ROM.
Selecting either of them repeats the same thing and the installation is
unable to proceed.

I tried using my .iso OpenSuse DVD image in two ways:
1. Directly selecting it as the OS installer file from Vmware
2. Mounting it on Daemon tools and selecting the Daemon Tool virtual drive
as the default DVD drive in vmware.

Surprisingly enough, after trying for several times the installation
proceeded, but I got another error: this time it failed to install the
GRUB.

If anyone has installed OpenSuse11.2 on vmware please tell me how you did it.
