Just thought I'd put my two cents in.

I'm running FC4 and no prob with the DSL, but I am also plugged into a router.

If you are going to go with DSL, let me strongly caution you against
Verizon. I only have it because my room mate chose it and she pays
the phone bill, but they suck suck suck. We've had big problems with
them recently regarding customer support and their so-called
'troubleshooting,' so I wouldn't go with them if I were you. Also, I
only know about BellSouth's phone service (not their DSL) but everyone
I know who has ever had them for phone service has had bad experiences
with them. So, I say they suck suck suck too.

I've heard good things about Earthlink DSL and Sprint, though.
