They said they can't post the slides directly due to some sensitive
material in them, but that they would email Tony (our VP) with a sanitized
copy. When he gets those he or I can let you know.

Hi LUG folks!
This Sunday we have the LUG Movie Night / End of Semester Party / Elections
scheduled. However, as usual, I have been lax on the foresight and we have
nothing planned!
So, a few questions:
1. Do we still want to have it on Sunday? I'm fine pushing it to Tuesday
night if you guys are down. I know at least Neill is going to be busy
Sunday night and would appreciate that, plus it'd give us a bit more time
to plan.
2. What movie should we watch?
3. I was planning on ordering pizza with LUG funds; any preference with
regard to food choice?
Also, if you're considering running for an officer's position in the club,
then I'll refresh your memory on the positions we have available:
- President -- The role I filled this semester. Plans meetings,
organizes activities, oversees general club business.
- Vice President -- The role Tony filled this semester. Assists
President and fills in during absences.
- Treasurer -- The role Luis filled this semester. Manages the LUG bank
account & dispersal + collection of funds.
- PR Officer -- The role Neill filled this semester. Responsible for LUG
communications, updating the website, and the mailing list.
Please consider running to be an officer! I know this semester was a bit
lowkey due to change of leadership. With combined effort hopefully we can
revive the LUG for Fall semester and generate some interest, and maybe
bring back FOSS Fair for next Spring.
Let me know if you have questions, comments, ideas, or fruit to throw!
Freely,
--

I can't make Sunday night but Tuesday night would work fine for me.
Pizza sounds good. I do think we should try to get a room with a better
projector though, because the projector in the room we have been in
rather sucks.
