Hey everyone!
This is just a friendly message from the LUG officers letting you know
about next Tuesday's technical talk, *7-8pm in EBII 3001*, as usual. The
presentation will be given by yours truly (!) on *terminal environments and
workflows*, or in other words "why Linux geeks always obsess over command
lines."
No previous experience is necessary! We'll likely run through everything
from basic Unix commands and text editors to terminal multiplexing and
custom power-user interface hacks.
Eagerly looking forward to seeing you all there!

Hello all!
Some people expressed interest in getting a copy of tonight's presentation
on command line basics. The link is below!
I used a Javascript framework called ReactJS to make the presentation, and
would highly recommend the technology to anyone who wants to whip up a
professional-looking slideshow without having to meddle with the
never-ending open-source file extension battle (odt/ppt/pdf).
My apologies for its laconic nature. If anyone has follow-up questions
related to the content, feel free to shoot the group an email or hop on

Hi LUG folks! Sorry I haven't been at the LUG meetings this semester, I've
been hard at work these days.
Speaking of work, my company Cumulus Networks has openings for two
internship roles in Engineering, one on the support team and one on the
development team. Start dates are flexible, expecting most interns to start
this summer after the semester ends.
