Hey everyone!

This is Neill (IRC--rattler), your PR officer for the spring semester. I
just have two quick topics to discuss with you all:

*0. Spring semester schedule*
Despite our shaky start, we've got a tentative long-term schedule laid out:

*Date* *Event* *Speaker/Location*
2/2/2015 Intro to Linux Quentin Young
2/9/2015 Social TBD
2/16/2015 Init Systems Michael Marley
2/23/2015 Social TBD
3/1/2015 Terminal Environments Neill Robson
*3/8/2015* *Spring Break*
3/15/2015 Version Control Systems Steven Loudermilk
3/22/2015 Social TBD
3/29/2015 Audio Systems Quentin Young
4/5/2015 Social TBD
4/12/2015 Hack Day
4/17/2015 Party & Elections TBD
As soon all the web data is transitioned to the refreshed server, all of
this information will be maintained on our website <http://lug.ncsu.edu>!

As a refresher, technical meetings are always in EBII, conference room 3001.

*1. Social meeting on Tuesday February 9th*
Social meetings are typically dinners. *Please respond to this email
indicating your preference on eating location.* Freshii (on Hillsborough
St) is a great choice and my personal vote.

In the future, we will discuss meal locations on our IRC channel, which
means that if you don't log in, you don't get a vote in where we eat.

That's all for now!

*TL;DR: Read the spring schedule. Tell us where to eat dinner on Tuesday.
Get on IRC.*

I'm fine with Freshii, never been there myself.
