When: Saturday, July 26, 2014, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Mann Hall, room 301
Mann Hall is the Civil Engineering building, between Riddick and Broughton
on North Campus (very close to Daniels).
If you've never been to a hack day before, they're a lot of fun.
Basically, we just all hang out in a room and work on stuff together.
Hack days are great opportunities to work on projects (school, work,
or personal), learn about new technologies, come up with ideas, and
play games of all kinds! Also, we usually go to dinner together afterwards.
If you have access to surge protectors, drinks, board games, card
games, or snacks, and don't mind bringing some, visit our wiki page
here and tell us what you're bringing:
http://lug.ncsu.edu/wiki/2014-07-26_Hack_Day/
But, if you don't want to/can't afford to bring any equipment or
consumables, *please* don't feel like you have to bring something to
show up.
We hope to see you there!

So apparently we couldn't get Mann Hall booked for it being closed, but we
did get Park Shops 200. It's near Mann but down the road towards Pullen
Road and SAS Hall (in section 4 #33 here: http://www.ncsu.edu/campus_map/).
Also, what are you doing for lunch, in case anybody wants to join or add to
an order going out, or are we just arriving having been fed? Not sure what
I'll be doing yet, but that would be nice to know.

Hi Josh!
If we want to order lunch, we can. We've usually done something simple like pizza or Subway in the past. Some people eat before, some don't. Either way, we'll have lots of snacks. Since Hack Day is from noon to 8:00 PM, I would be willing to get some lunch with you and I'm sure Barry, Stephen Bryant, and Markus would too. So I'll say "yes we will" on the subject of ordering lunch. As always, everyone pays for their own lunch and dinner.

For anyone who didn't follow the event link, the email says "Room TBA", but
the link says the room is NC State Engineering Building II Room 1021, which
I believe is the same room as our last meeting.

Hey guys,
just a quick reminder that we'll have our Summer Hack Day on Saturday!
When: Saturday, July 26, 2014, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Park Shops 200 on Main Campus
Park Shops is next to Daniels Hall on Main Campus, right across the street
from SAS Hall.
If you're bringing anything, please enter it on the wiki:
http://lug.ncsu.edu/wiki/2014-07-26_Hack_Day/
But don't feel obligated to bring something to show up! We'll likely order
lunch from somewhere, and usually go to dinner afterwards. (Just a
reminder: The LUG does not pay for lunch or dinner).
See you all on Saturday!
