If you haven't RSVP'ed for tonight's meeting don't worry, you can still come.

The RSVP numbers made it possible to budget for food (Mexican

platters) and drinks. The food order has now been placed, so if you

missed out on RSVP'ing please consider bringing something yummy to

  share for desert.

We have a great lineup of people with demos for tonight. More

information on each demo at http://trilug.org/2013-12-12/demo

  Hi Everyone,

Just a thought, I am willing to help out, but is February 15th the best

choice for a weekend? It is the day after Valentine's Day. But as I said.

Let me know I am willing to help out, but that Saturday might not be the

  best choice.

  Respectfully,

Unless you give your partner a "day at the spa" and book them in for

the 15th. What better way to say "I love you" :-)

Triangle Open Day is on the following weekend, Saturday 22nd Feb 2014.

  Add that into your calendar

If we want to have it in February, it was either that or the 8th, and the

8th conflicts with the Krispy Kreme Challenge. Which wouldn't be a big

deal, except that our VP and PR Officer are running in it. Of course, we

could also push back to March this year if you think Valentine's would

  seriously impact attendance.

  Hi all,

I recently noticed that NC State does not appear to have a 3d art group on campus so I thought I'd see how many people were interested in forming one. The first meeting will be similar to a planning meeting, we'll be discussing the scope of the group and what it could provide for members and the school. Anyone with any interest in digital art is welcome to come by, we're just now shaping the club so any input will be appreciated.

The meeting will take place on January 8th at 7pm in the Hunt Library Fishbowl which is located on the fourth floor (the room that is mostly glass panels right at the top of the stairs, you can't miss it).

  Hello, LUGgers!

I hope you've all enjoyed the holidays this year (and last). School

starts back next Monday, and so LUG will start back next Tuesday with

  our semester planning meeting!

When: Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 7:00 PM

Where: Engineering Building II room 3001

Once you're in EB II, find a staircase, go all the way up to the 3rd

floor, and then move to the center of the building. 3001 is in the

bridge that connects the two halves of EB II.

  At the planning meeting, we'll:

  - Introduce the new Steering Committee to anyone who wasn't at elections.

  - Confirm our meeting times for the semester.

  - Make a list of potential meeting topics.

  - Select rooms to request for meetings.

  - Come up with plans for FOSS Fair, NC State's Free and Open Source

Software unconference. (The LUG is taking over this year!)

If you're interested in any of these, make sure you drop by the planning

meeting! As is LUG tradition, we'll go out for dinner somewhere afterwards.

So I was planning on actually showing up for this meeting (yeah, yeah, I know), but it looks like I have class at that time. So... if I don't show up at all this semester, it's not because I hate you guys, it's just that I don't want to fail ENG 381. Cheers!

PS- I currently have the Facebook page for NCSU FOSS Fair. Relevant people please get in touch with me so that I can either transfer ownership or have something to post.
