Hey Luggers,

I just wanted to let everybody know that this Saturday, June 22, is ARRL Field Day. ARRL Field Day is an event where amateur radio operators all over the US and Canada set up stations to demonstrate and practice their radio operating skills. More information about ARRL Field Day and our local club's camp site is at http://rars.org/fieldday.php.The actual radio contest goes from 2:00pm on Saturday until 2:00pm on Sunday so you can even show up after hack day and join in on the fun. If you are interested in learning more about amateur radio or are already licensed and haven't been active lately then this is a great way to get on the air and see what you are missing.
