Hello LUG,
Forgive me, I am new to using linux and I\'m still learning the vocabulary. I recently had Fedora Core 5 put on my laptop and I now would like to use a USB mouse while I\'m in Linux. The mouse works fine in Win. XP and when the mouse is plugged in while I\'m in Linux, it recognizes it under the hardware devices. I just can\'t figure out why Linux recognizes the mouse in the USB but it won\'t let me use it. When I\'m in the GNOME session I went under the system preferences and checked a box for the system to recognize the mouse when it\'s plugged in, but the mouse still doesn\'t work??? Can anyone help.
