Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is the beginning of an exciting new time here at NC State! My name is Sean Reibert and I am with NCSU Compassion In Action. We are holding a fundraising event to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina by throwing a
Spring Break Bash
on Hillsborough Street on
February 25th
from 6:00 pm to 2:00 am. Our goal from the very beginning was to create an event that involves the entire NC State community as we reach out as a single voice to help those effected by that horrible disaster. Compassion in Action was created to help organize that voice, and now the time has come to mobalize the Pack!
We have pulled together eight stores (listed below) that have donated space to allow NC State student organizations to host individual fundraising activities. Each student organization can choose the store they want to work with as well as whatever activity they want to hold! Make it fun! Showcase your individual organization and show how much you care! It doesn't have to be elaborate. Show that the Wolf Pack will come together and overcome any disaster!
Hillsborough Street Textbooks , Packbackers , and the NCSU Bookstore have been kind enough to donate NC State gear that will be raffled off throughout the night. T-shirts, stuffed animals, mugs, polo shirts, and an iPod Nano just to name a few! You don't want to miss out!
Once again, the Spring Break Bash will take place on February 25th from 6:00 pm until 2:00 am and we are expecting a huge turnout. We are encouraging all of NC State University to come out and support the cause so please contact me as soon as possible so I can help you set up. There is plenty of space for everyone!
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call me. I will be glad to help your organization in anyway I can!
All proceeds from the event will go to the National Association of Home Builders and their Home Building Industry Disaster Relief Fund. http://www.nahb.org/
It is when a single wolf falls that the entire pack circles back around to protect them. Lets show our brothers and sister in New Orleans that we have not forgotten them and are circling back around. Man, I love this school!
