rPath is looking for interns interested in working on Linux distribution
technology who have:
o At least some system administration experience. Your experience
doesn't have to be formal or job-related, you just need an
understanding of how Linux systems are arranged. Maintaining
a personal Linux system and building new software for it can
count.
o Some knowledge of Python, or familiarity with enough other
languages that we can be confident that you will be able to
learn what you need quickly.
o Familiarity with building new open source software.
o Interest in learning new technology.

Your main responsibilities would be updating packages, creating new
packages, and bug fixing for the rPath Linux distribution. There
may be opportunities to participate in system administration tasks
as well. For more information on rPath Linux and the Conary
technology on which it is based, please see http://wiki.conary.com/

If you are interested, please send a resume to jobs@rpath.[redacted]
as plain text, postscript, or pdf. (Microsoft word .doc files will
be discarded without further consideration.) I don't need fancy
formal resumes; plain text that tells me what I need to know is
the easiest thing for me to read.

Thanks!
