I believe the default Up2Date servers are totally off-line as of the switch
to Fedora. Someone correct me if I'm wrong... Bueller...Bueller???

Subject: LUG: up2date question
I'm trying to run up2date on my RH9 system. Initially the gui froze during
the install portion and I was forced to log out and restart the computer.
Now, when I run up2date I get an error saying a certain package is already
installed. When I uncheck it from the list to be installed, it finds another
and another. I've tried running up2date -p and up2date -f to try to update
the package info and force install.
Is there a way to override everything and actually force it to install
regardless of whether its installed or not?
Thanks!
David S.
