Subject : LUG: Redhat 9 installation question!

I tried to install Redhat9 using VMware under Windows XP through hardware installation.It is smooth during the installation,but when re-starting the machine,I received the following error message when I chose to start Redhat:

root(hd0,7)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83 kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.20-8 ro root=LABEL=/

Error 2: Bad file or directory type

Is there anyone who has also encountered this problem?Or someone could let me know how to solve this problem??Thank you!
