  Hello, all:

  On Wednesday, February 1st, the NCSU Linux Users' Group
will have a presentation by Ken Vandine of rPath on some new and nifty
GNOME Applications. GNOME (

   http://www.gnome.org

  )
is a "desktop suite and development platform" and includes many of the
most commonly used applications run on Linux (an unofficial listing can
be found at

   http://www.gnomefiles.org/

  ).
At the talk, Ken will go into some of the newer interesting and useful
applications he's run into. We will go for dinner after the meeting
and, as usual, all are invited to attend. We look forward to seeing you
in Cox 400 at 7:30 on the 1st!

  Cheers,

  Heather Heinz
