Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I keep little scripts and things in my dropbox, but I also have a paid subversion account at http://www.xp-dev.com/ where I store my code. They offer a free 200MB account, and the upgrade to 1gb for $5/month isn't too terrible for a subversion host... But beyond that it can get expensive. I got in early before their "V2" upgrade so I've locked in a $40/year 2gb plan which I'm quite happy with but is no longer available for new upgraders... Anyway, xp-dev is a nice, flexible system. They offer Trac or their own custom project tracking system, and your subversion repositories can be hooked into Basecamp, Fogbugz, Fixx or Lighthouse, auto post to a Twitter account, or automatically back up to Amazon S3. Users don't need a paid account to access a paid account's repository, so if you have a team, only one team member needs to have the available space for your project; assuming you go over the free 200mb limit, of course.

Ubuntu One is basically a non-cross-platform Dropbox, right? I mean, there's a bit more integration with Ubuntu I think (or at least it comes preinstalled...) but otherwise does it have any advantages to negate the fact that your files would be locked into the Ubuntu operating system? As an indecisive Linux/Windows user depending on the week, it's not for me, I'll stick with my Dropbox.

Oh, and I have an aversion to Git. Though to be fair I haven't given it a solid try (yet). Maybe I'll look into it, just to see what I'm missing.

I have 2GB free on Ubuntu One and 2GB free from dropbox and some github for open source projects.

For lack of anything else to do with them i have a couple nested (duplicates).
