Yeah, the ethernet card should just use the tg3 driver and be fine. The
Broadcom stuff that is problematic is their wireless chips.

But for a Thinkpad, the wireless is probably the ipw chip which just
requires downloading the firmware separately and dropping it
in /lib/firmware
