I see what you mean... I have a similar problem some times with my skeet club...

Please take me off your mailing list Quentin.  I'm going to announce a LUG for Morehead City and see what response I get.  Maybe there will be some eager college students that want to learn about Unix and move out of here into a big city IT job.

One hour before meeting, one respondent to our poll and multiple members have said they cannot make tonight's meeting. I personally have work to do as well. We will therefore not be meeting tonight due to lack of interest. Apologies for the late notice, you have my permission to file a complaint with the LUG president.
