I wish MajorDomo lists didn't make it so difficult, requiring a password.

Edward,   can you tell me how I can remove myself from the LUG email distribution list?  I rarely use this acct and realize that I
am still receiving LUG emails here.  If I decide to later I may add another email acct. but for now I'd like to remove this address
from the list.

Thank you greatly,
Doug L.

Subject: LUG: Elections tonight

So far, we have received the following nominations for next semester's steering committee:

President: Brian Cottingham
Vice President: Michael Wright and Carson Holgate
Public Relations/Secretary: none
Treasurer: Ben Berry

For the first time in roughly 7 years we have a real vote between two people! This is exciting - don't miss it! Each competing nominee will have time to represent themselves and suggest why they ought to fill the position. One will be randomly selected to go first. Afterward, we will take a vote. Both members and associate members (non-students from the community) are eligible to vote.

If you are interested in running for a steering committee position, let us know by tonight.

This Tuesday the LUG will be watching Tron: Legacy in Mann 216 at 7:00pm. There will be pizza. If you're looking for a distraction from your end-of-semester projects and studying, come out and join us!

Tuesday's meeting will include elections for LUG steering committee.

Next weekend, 4/29-5/1, a bunch of LUG people will be going to CarolinaCon! CC is reputed to be a blast of a security conference, and we hope to see you there!
