Technical Sessions
Every other one of our Weekly Meetings is a technical session. Unless we have invited speakers from industry speak with us, these sessions are usually "show-and-tell" format where a member of the club will give a brief discussion and demo of what he or she has been working on lately, whether it's a research or personal project.
At the end of the semester, we often have a night of Lightning Talks - short, 5-minute presentations designed to give us enough information about a topic to make us want to hear more.
Technical sessions generally last from 30 to 60 minutes. After the session, we break for dinner to continue the discussion. When our speakers are generous enough to share their presentations with us, we put them here.
