Types of flatbed scanners



No, not those scanners, but the digital imagery type (they're slightly less dangerous). 
There are three types:
Parallel-port
Older scanners have this connection.
SCSI
Up until recently, this was the standard connection type. These scanners are well supported.
USB
The new connection of choice, these scanners sometimes work, depending on the vendor.
