This talk is less about the inner workings of Netfilter/Iptables, and more about its practical implementation.
All testing and examples were confirmed on a Red Hat Linux 7.3 installation, but should work properly on any Linux installation that is running a recent 2.4 kernel and recent iptables installation.
I really won't touch on ipv6 packets at all.
