Instructions
  • In order to better coordinate organization at our monthly installfest, we request that all persons bringing a computer to the installfest provide information about the hardware they plan to bring. However, everyone is welcome to come to installfest, whether pre-registered or not. Please be sure to note any odd hardware that your computer has that we should know about.
  • By submitting a registration form earlier versus later, you will provide us time to research and verify that your hardware will support Linux.
  • Before coming to the InstallFest, please be sure to backup important documents and data, disable MS Windows swap space, and defrag your hard disk twice.
